Childcare at Powertech 2025

Dear parents,
As part of PowerTech 2025, we offer the possibility of childcare by the Family Service of Kiel University.
The facilities are located 1600 metres from the event building (Audimax) at Olshausenstrasse 80i. This distance can be travelled on foot or by public bus (station Kiel Uni-Hochhaus to station Kiel Leibnizstraße).
For children aged 2 and over, 5 children are looked after by one carer at a time. For younger children and babies there is 1:1 childcare.

PowerTech will cover the costs of childcare for you.

Childcare is possible during the following times
30.6.2025 to 02.07 2025 from 8:00 to 18:00 in each case
03.07.2025 from 8:00 to 16:00

Please send us an email with the following information to administration[a]powertech.de by 10 May 2025

  • Name of parent
  • Number and names and ages of the children
  • Completed declaration of consent
If you are not a member of Kiel University, simply leave the field “CAU personnel number” blank.

Childcare requests received after 10 May 2025 can unfortunately no longer be considered.
